Who We Are

Chao Group Limited is an organization change and executive training boutique. We are specialists in aligning organizations with strategy, leadership development and management teambuilding.

Our emphasis is creating strong top management teams that think strategically, act collectively, and share accountability for business results.

Since 1995, we have assisted clients dramatically improve their business planning, execution and corporate cultures. We have over 95% repeat business with multinational clients and professional services firms worldwide. We serve our clients from offices in New York, Connecticut & Bangkok.


Why We Are Unique
  • Chao Group Limited was founded in 1995 to address concerns from chief executives, who were frustrated that their businesses were not changing to achieve better performance and growth, despite extensive restructuring. Many looked outside of their organizations for assistance.

  • But the market was overcrowded with two types of consulting/training offerings: cumbersome and academic or too human resources-oriented, lacking content. Most of these programs were variations of the same message. So the challenge was not coming up with new management concepts; it was sticking with one idea and implementing it effectively. The messenger, rather than the message had become the key to success.

  • Chao Group focuses on effective implementation - creating sustainable change fast and professionally. To do this well involves a combination of: (1) understanding business issues and (2) motivating people. One cannot work without the other. Successful change occurs when a company drives strategic priorities throughout the organization and creates a sense of urgency for change in all employees.

  • Our step-by-step approach and skill base are unique. Chao Group first defines the correct business issues. Defining the right issues and understanding how they affect a client's business model is essential.

  • Once the right issues have been defined, we brainstorm viable options and then identify the gap between what the organization and its people do today versus what they need to do differently to effect change. This provides the guidelines for developing practical change programs to bridge the gap.

  • Throughout the process, we use fact-based analysis and involve people in discovering practical solutions with business impact. With this balanced combination, we build commitment and passion for the right course of change.
